This ancient Roman glass pendant began it's life as a household vase, water jug, or temple vessel. It belonged to someone. It was used and perhaps even treasured. There is genuine history and a unique story behind this piece.

The glass was excavated in Israel, in archeological sites dating back to the period of the Romans. This pendant has been reborn. You are literally wearing a small piece of 2000-year-old history.

This piece should be treated like fine jewely. The inlaid fragments of glass are coated with a layer of natural patina and should not come into contact with water. A bit of rain won't hurt, but it's best to remove the jewelry before bathing or swimming.

The entire pendant is 18mm wide x 20mm tall (about the size of US dime).

It is washed in a light patina to darken and highlight the raised details.
